- What Art Paper do we use for our Artificates?
|
- Fine Art – Called Albrecht Dürer, (210 g/m2 matte paper) by Hahnemühle, This is an acid-free, single-side coated with 50% rag. It has a natural white finish with a slightly structured soft-textured surface. This is high-quality mould-made paper.
- Matte Canvas - Bright white, cotton canvas (22 mil), this canvas is gloss-free with a slightly smoother texture than the gloss canvas. It offers great color saturation and contrast

- Custom Text
|
- Art Certificates are available with a custom text option. You may give us the Barmitzvah boy or Batmitzvah girls name in Hebrew or English or both. Please make sure to double check all spelling before you send it to us and particularly when you get your Artificate to review before final printing. The same applies to any other text you wish to have on the Artificate such as the date of the celebration, the torah portion and message you wish to incorporate .

- Delivery Times
|
As each Artificate is personalized, subject to your review and produced using the finest products available, all Artificates are subject to a delivery period as outlined below. - Grand Pathway – Delivered within 30 days of you placing your order

- Changing the colors or design of an Artificate
|
Unfortunately the Artificates on our website cannot be modified, other than the text you choose. However, you may order an original “Masterpiece” or “Prestige” Artificate, where you may choose your own theme and ideas form one of our internationally acclaimed artists. Furthermore, the “Masterpiece” Artificate is a one of a kind creation that is exclusively yours.

- Printing

All Grand & Prestige Artificates are printed using Giclee printing, to ensure the highest quality art prints

- Colors on Your Computer Screen
|
We make the best possible effort to ensure that the images that appear in our gallery accurately reflect the colors of the Artificate. However, everyone's monitor is slightly different and most calibration settings are not the same. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that the colors on the Artificate will precisely match what you see on your screen.

- What is Personalization?
|
There are blank spaces within each Artificate text. Personalization is the completion of these blank spaces, and thus of the Artificate text, to include the names of the Bar or Batmitzvah boy or girl, the date of the celebration, a part of his her or her portion from the Torah and the name of the person or person giving this wonderful gift

- Who Does Personalization?
|
When placing your order, you will need to fill in the details requested for personalization. This will be sent to our in house team of designers to be incorporated with your Artificate.

- International Shipping
|
We will gladly ship your Artificate anywhere in the world. International orders will be shipped by Air using the fastest possible service. Please note that Bar Mitzvah World Ltd cannot be held responsible for any customs or duty charges that may be incurred upon delivery to an international address.

- How is my Artificate shipped?
|
Your Artificate will be shipped to you either in a tube or in a flat shipping box and will be delivered, by DHL, UPS, EMS or FedEx. Please provide us with a shipping address where you will be available during the day as most shipping companies require that you sign for the package. Please note that packages cannot be delivered to post office boxes. Bar Mitzvah World guarantees that your Artificate will be delivered in mint condition. Please open the Artificate when it arrives. If, for any reason, the package has been damaged in transit, call us immediately so that we can send a replacement.

- How can I order my Artificate?
|
You can order your Artificate online using our secure server, 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. If you would prefer to talk to one of our customer representatives, please call us at 1xxxxxxxx. We are closed on the Sabbath and all Jewish holidays.

- Can I order an Artificate as a gift?
|
Absolutely. The process is the same as if you were to order it for yourself. Just remember to complete the personalization text. Without the personalization information, we cannot proceed with the order

- How can I pay for my Artificate purchase?
|
You can pay for your Artificate using our online secure server. We do not hold your credit credit card details at any stage to protect you. All details are processed via our secure 128 bit secure encryption server.

- Haphtorah – What are 2 column and 1-column options ?
|
1 column Option - The Haphtorah is written on Parchment in a single column approximately 9 inches wide. The length will depend on the individual portion selected. For an average portion the length of the parchment writing will be about 20 inches.
2 columns Option - The Haftorah is written on Parchment in two 9 inch columns, length depending on individual haftorah portion selected. This option provides a suitable dimension for easy framing.

- What material is used for Haftorah scrolls
|
|
Our Haftorah scrolls are written on genuine calf-skin, also known as “Klaf”. This is the same parchment on which a Torah scroll is written

- Will any additional taxes be added to my order?
|
Apart from 15.5% VAT which will be added to all shipments within Israel no additional taxes or charges will be added to orders in any other country. However, we cannot be held responsible for any customs or duty charges that may be incurred upon delivery to an international address.

- Return Policy
|
Please note that Artificates ordered with personalization or customization cannot be returned once shipped. Should you need to return an item due to damage in postage, please call us first to make arrangements. Once we have received the piece in its original condition, we will replace your goods at no additional charge or reimburse you for the full cost of your order minus any shipping charges. Refunds without prior clearance will not be issued.

- Reviewing Procedure
|
A preview PDF file of your personalized Artificate will be sent by our design team for your approval prior to final shipment. (It is also possible to receive the preview by fax). 5 working days will be allowed for review. If no reply is received it will be assumed that the design is approved .
|
- Canceling your Artificate order
|
- Grand Pathway Artificates ordered off our gallery may be cancelled up to the review process..We will refund you the full cost of your order minus a handing fee of $20. No cancellation can be accepted after shipment is made.
- Prestige Artificates may be cancelled up to the second review. We will refund you the full cost of your order minus 50%. No cancellation can be accepted after shipment is made.
- Masterpiece Artificate may be cancelled up to the second review. We will refund you the full cost of your order minus 50%. No cancellation can be accepted after shipment is made.
- Haftorah Scrolls are written upon receipt of personal orders which cannot therefore be cancelled..
- General Merchandise, which has not been personalized, may be returned. Should you need to return an item, please contact us first to make arrangements. Once we have received the piece in its original condition, we will reimburse you for the full cost of your order minus a 20% handling charge. Shipping charges will not be paid by Bar Mitzvah World. Refunds without prior clearance will not be issued.

- Caring for your Artificate
|
Always handle your Artificate with clean, dry hands. Be sure to keep the Artificate in as low humidity as possible as moisture can severely damage your artwork.
|
- Framing your Artificate
|
We recommend taking the Artificate to a reputable framer. DO NOT dry mount your Artificate – this could permanently damage and discolor the artwork. A nice matt finish glass, U/V protective glass or plexiglass should provide the perfect finish to your Artificate and prevent fading and other environmental damage. Direct sunlight, halogen and fluorescent lighting can cause artwork to fade over time. Try to hang your Artificate out of direct light sources. Find a nice place in your home or work place to have many years of viewing pleasure, memories and celebration each time you see your Artificate.

- If I order more than one item, will I receive them at the same time?
|
In general a consolidated shipment will be made of Grand and Prestige Artificates. A separate consolidated shipment will be made of all other items. Therefore if a Grand Artificate were ordered with a Kings Haftorah, two separate shipments would be received. In all cases Bar Mitzvah World has attempted to keep shipping costs as low as possible.
